A Day of Climate Change

Today is a memorable day in England. At least for those of us from Cape Town. Because as we move into summer (finally!) and Cape Town moves into winter, today is the crossover point. Observe the predictions for today:

Weather prediction for the week

Today is the first day of the year that the four-day prediction is better here. (Ok, so you’ll have to give me a bit of leeway and ignore the minimums later in the week – it doesn’t count as real weather if it happens while I’m asleep.)

The only problem is that it will probably only last until next week, when it’s back to the usual winter service. But at least for one week, we can enjoy wonderful sunny skies.
