After a year of planning, training and preparation, the Land’s End to John o’Groats cycle is finally over. The ride itself took place from 3 to 14 August, 2012. There were a few posts done during the preparation phase, and one for each day of the trip. The former can be found using the LEJOG category down on the right, and links to the daily posts are included below.

Day 1 – The Start (Land’s End to Bodmin)
Day 2 – Off the Beaten Track (Bodmin to Tiverton)
Day 3 – The Long Haul (Tiverton to Chepstow)
Day 4 – Getting into the Groove (Chepstow to Shrewsbury)
Day 5 – Crossing the Mersey (Shrewsbury to Wigan)
Day 6 – Fair to Middling (Wigan to Kendal)
Day 7 – Bursting into Scotland (Kendal to Langholm)
Day 8 – Up the Valley (Langholm to Edinburgh)
Day 9 – Downs and Ups (Edinburgh to Pitlochry)
Day 10 – Easy Going (Pitlochry to Inverness)
Day 11 – Miserable (Inverness to Helmsdale)
Day 12 – The Last Straw (Helmsdale to John o’Groats)

The Charity fundraising page is here, but there was quite a bit of money we raised on the side, putting the total at over £3,000. There was also a FaceBook page with some photos, which can be found here.
